Etiquette for our class:

We want everyone to have a great online experience. Everyone will be muted throughout the class for optimal audio, unless the teacher asks a specific question to the class. We want to inspire, get creative, and have fun while your children draw with us online!

Materials Needed :

We use 8.5″x11″ or 9×12″ paper. Michael’s Art Store is a great place to find items you don’t already have at home. Email us if you would like brand suggestions.

Watercolor Paper (Parents: Please cut 1 sheet of watercolor paper down to 4 equal-sized rectangles by cutting paper in half and then half again, so each piece is roughly 4.5″ x 5.5/6″ depending on paper size)
Watercolor Paper (Parents: Please cut 1 sheet of watercolor paper in 1/2 to 2 equal-sized sheets of paper, so each piece is about 5″ x 7″ (frame-able sizes)
1 Full sheet of Watercolor Paper
-Pencil/Eraser
-Permanent Black Marker/Pen
-Watercolors
-Cup for water
-Paper towels
-Brush
-Model Magic (Red, Yellow, Blue, White) – enough for 2 days
-Wax Paper or plastic (like a ziplock bag) for work surface for Model Magic
-Oil Pastels

Monday: We will use pencil, Permanent Black Marker, Watercolors, Cup of Water, Paper Towel, Brush, and Watercolor Paper (cut into the 4 equal “postcard” sizes)

Tuesday: Model Magic with the Wax Paper or plastic working surface, and Black Permanent Marker (tape and ziplock bag needed to keep unused clay fresh after project)

Wednesday: Oil Pastels, Watercolors, Brush, Cup of Water, Paper Towel, and Watercolor paper cut down into 2 sheets at 5″ x 7″

Thursday: Model Magic with the Wax Paper or plastic working surface, and Black Permanent Marker

Friday: Oil Pastels, Watercolors, Brush, Cup of Water, Paper Towel, and Full Sheet of Watercolor Paper
